Georgia is an educator, philanthropist, activist and entertainment professional who has dedicated her life to creating solutions for those born into an unjust experience of our world. Georgia is heavily involved with a variety of local and global children’s nonprofit organizations, including founding two NGOs in Ethiopia and Uganda. She is on a mission to end the global epidemic of childhood trauma and isn’t afraid to use whatever means of art, technology or love is needed to do it. She is the owner of a production company I am Spartacus Entertainment that creates socially conscious positive content. At Arts Bridging the Gap Georgia does ‘whatever needs to be done!’ including program and curriculum development, teaching classes, designing murals and making lots of wonderful friends in wonderful places.
John Switzer | Chairman of the Board
A native of Los Angeles, John was encouraged early on to explore all that this amazing world has to offer. This led to a diverse resume that ranged from high sierra backcountry guide to musical talent manager to a successful career as an executive in the world of audio post production for feature films. In 2000 John became a founding member of Audio Network Ltd., now a worldwide leader in music licensing. John has been on the board of Arts Bridging the Gap for close to two years, most recently serving as board chair. John’s wish is for all kids to have the same access to early arts education as he did.
Oxana Ermolova | Director of Operations
Oxana trained as a dancer prior to overseeing marketing and communications for nonprofit institutions throughout Los Angeles and the Bay Area. She is currently pursuing her master’s in management from UCLA, with the goal of applying analytical and businesses acumen in service of nurturing innovative ideas as an executive in the arts sector. Oxana is responsible for managing operations, collecting program metrics and overseeing organizational finances.
Robyn Janz | Girls Make VR Program Manager
Robyn is a classically trained visual artist. After 20 years as an optician specializing in eye disease, she transitioned into working in VR and fell in love. Since then, she has been a VR-evangelist actively working towards providing STEAM education in public schools through GMVR.
